Photoshop : Vibrant Color Landscape

1. Open an image that you would like to manipulate. Make sure your image is in RGB mode. To check this, go to Image under the menu bar - Mode - RGB Color. Make a duplicate of this layer as you will be working on this layer going forward.

2. You will notice this image is dull and boring, we are going to bring it to life. So go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and crank the saturation till it looks visually correct. I am going to crank it up by 40 to give it a vibrant appearance.
3. Now adjust the Brightness/Contrast Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast we will use Brightness 7 / Contrast 8.

Photoshop : Neon Lights On Black

1. Open an image that you would like to manipulate. Make sure your image is in RGB mode. To check this, go to Image under the menu bar - Mode - RGB Color. Make a duplicate of this layer as you will be working on this layer going forward.

2. Filter - Stylize - Find Edges
3. Invert the layer with keyboard shortcut Ctrl-I.

Photoshop : Cartoon Drawing

1. Open an image that you would like to manipulate. Make sure your image is in RGB mode. To check this, go to Image under the menu bar - Mode - RGB Color. Make a duplicate of this layer as you will be working on this layer going forward.

2. Now we will be applying the Poster Edges filter. To do this, go to Filter > Artistic > Poster Edges.
3. After the Poster Edges effect, we will Adjust the Brightness & Contrast with the values: Brightness Value: 10 Contrast: 30.

4. Now we will do an artistic cut out effect to give it that cartoon look. Go to Filter > Artistic > Cut Out. And this is what you get!

Photoshop : Surreal Fantasy Art

1. Make a new canvas, 500*500.
2. Get a nice picture of ocean with foam at the shore. We used this one:

3. The most interesting effect is achieved when a picture was taken at angle, but we will create this effect artificially, by pasting the ocean photo unto our canvas and pressing Ctrl + T to rotate it a little, as shown on the photo below:

4. Next, take a photo of a girl, we use Becca from deviantArt, but you might want to use your own photo. Copy the canvas.

5. Paste the girl unto the ocean layer and then press Ctrl + T to rotate the layer with the photo and place it along line with the ocean shore, more or less, same degree

6. Using wither magnetic tool, or eraser tool, delete the background from the layer with the girl. If the edges are not perfect, don't worry about it, as eventually it will look as the girl was just swept away to the shore, it won't matter and we will cover it with other layers.

7. Duplicate the layer with the ocean, and put the second, copied layer, on top of the layer with the girl. 8. Take the eraser tool with soft brush (we used 80 px) and remove the top layer with the ocean from the girl, however, (and this is important!) leave the edges covered with the upper layer, which will create the illusion of the girl actually been partly covered with teh water.

You should get something like this... I'd recommend to cover the legs with the water and not her face, or whichever part of the body looks as if it lays ON the sand.

9. While the upper layer of the ocean is still selected, Go to Levels Panel (Ctrl + L) and reduce redness as shown below...

...and adjust the Green channel as well, to give the water a deeper hue.

The water should get a little darker and bluer, however, reserving their natural look.

10. Duplicate the upper layer of the ocean, and using the copy that is not on top, go to Filter >> Blur >> Radial Blur and apply maximum Zoom blur, however, placing the blur starting point at the place where the girl is located in your canvas. The idea is to make an illusion of rays shining from under the girl.

Click OK. This is what you got:

11. While this layer is still selected go to Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness / Contrast and make the image darker / add contrast by apply the settings as shown below.

12. Reduce the opacity of the upper (blurred) layer to 80% or a little less.

13. Take the eraser tool and remove the blurred later from girls face and body, once again, better leave the edges of her body covered with the upper layer, rather than overdo the eraser too.

This is what we got...

14. Now, go to Filter >> Render Lightening effects, and add omni-spot light with the settings shown below, to both blurred and not blurred ocean layer.

15. Take some good resolution photo of broken glass.

copy and paste the glass on top of your composition and play with the layer's overlay settings. It would really depend on your initial photo and how dark the broken glass layer is. Pin Light or Hard Light would normally be good, but try whichever settings look best to achieve the following result:

Be sure that the broken glass cracks do not "lay" on the face, or other parts of your composition that you want to be visible.

16. Now for the final touch.Flatten the image, and press Ctrl + L to go to levels menu. Reduce redness..

...and play with the blue level channel to give it more depth.

And, here it is, your final resuls

Photoshop : Create animated ad banner

Step 1:
Start a new document of size 460×68 pix. Use the foreground colour as #B39E75 and background colour as #EFD8AB.
Use the gradient tool and do a gradient fill as background
Step 2:
Create a new layer and select the eleptical Marquee tool and fill it with this gradient.

Now use the following settings in Blending Option. Stroke>1 px Black Colour.
Step 3:
Now Create a new layer and use the rectangular marquee tool to select a long rectange at the bottom and fill it with white colour with a 1 pix black colour stroke. This is what I got.

Now let us fill in the price and some advertisement text. Use a Bold and Colour ful font as the main intention of a banner is to attract the visitors. This is what I have choosen.

Step 4:
Now let us create a simple logo for the banner. I just typed a text and used a small icon over it to make a simple logo. Usually your client will give there own logo so you can use it instead.

Step 5:
Now it is time for some animation. Type 3-4 ad text and use the visibility mode of the layer to turn them on of off. The visibity mode can make a layer visible or hidden on the canvas. You can select or deselect the visibility anytime by click the “eye icon” on or off.

Now it is time to fire up Image Ready. File>Edit In Image ready (Ctrl+Shift+M ).
In the animation window duplicate the current layer
Now select the layer visibility of the ad text layer to make the first ad text appear and the second layer disappear. This is how to do it.

Photoshop : Kaleidoscopic effect

Step 1.Open a picture (or your photo). Duplicate a layer. Turn off a background layer
Apply Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary (Angle 45, CW). Choose the Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a selection of the unnecessary part and delete it.

Apply Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary (Angle 45, CCW). Apply Image > Trim... with the following settings: Top Left Pixel Color - ON, Top - ON, Bottom - ON, Left - ON, Right - ON.
Step 2.Then copy the layer (Ctrl+A) and (Ctrl+C), open a new document (Ctrl+N), and paste it (Ctrl+V). Now apply Image > Canvas Size with the following settings (increase the width in two times):

Step 3.Duplicate Layer 1 and transform copy layer using Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl+T).

Step 4.Apply Ctrl+E to merge down two layers. Now apply Image > Canvas Size with the following settings (increase the height in two times):

Duplicate Layer 1 and transform copy layer using Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl+T).Merge down two layers, copy a layer and rotate it by 90. And that's it.

7.Center the text by clicking "Align Vertical Centers" and "Align Horizontal Centers" located at the top tool bar.

8.Select the text layer and click "Add layer style" located at the bottom of the layers window and choose Stroke.
9.In the Layer Style window, click the color, type "c000c3" in the bottom of the Color Picker window and click Ok.
